Instance Farming- Soloing Firelands Part 2 - Soloing Shannox

Hi fellas sorry for the long delay in posting this was busy with some university stuff. Soooo today i am gonna teach you how to solo "Shannox"

Soloing shannox is quite easy but you are going to need at least 2 players if you wanna solo shannox since bosses have a lot of hp compared to trash & it will take you 20-25 mins if you & your partner have good dps.& there are also dogs to worry about but you can still solo him by your self if you are a multi boxer or you are skilled. The method to solo alone is kinda complicated & you might fail a lot of times as well so not gonna share here can share with you on request anyways this is what you are going to do if you wanna rape shannox.

First you are going to enter the instance with your partner & turn on your Ohack & select Fly hack if you dont have it download it from here so after doing that you & your partner will move to this position
After taking the aggro of the dogs your partner will just stay here & you will move to this position below. So you are probebly wondering how to take aggro of rageface it's easy just break the facerage once & after moving here the dogs will just fell down & wont be a hindrance no more.

Now you are going to pull the shannox on that peak or anywhere near it just make sure you maintain a good range so that you dont get in his attack range. Now after that it's just spanking  just make sure that your partner or the alt dosent move or the dogs will come up & rageface will rape you hard. After that both of you are gonna DPS the shannox just make sure that you are not flying over the terrain. Well guys this is it simple as that.
Until next time happy farming :)

Also i am having some difficulties with the rest of the bosses but i will figure out some thing soon other then that i will also post how to solo BH as well i am trying to figure out how to so look forward to it.

Instance Farming - Soloing Firelands Part 1 Trash Farming

Hey there guys sorry for the long delay in posting this was in a accident . So guys i will divide this method in 2 parts 1st is Trash Farming & 2nd will be soloing bosses so lets start with part 1

Most of you under geared people are always looking for Firelands rep farm or trash farm to get some decent gear & you rarely get any loot from em but if you follow this method not only you will be able to Get some decent gear you will also earn boatloads of gold so what you are going to do is this.

First of all Download the Ohack From here after that you are going to need a raid group it's a bad idea to make 1 with some other player since they might get suspicious of you so what you are going to do is this you will make another account & create a new player you will then open two wow processes & will login with both of your toons to make a party this will solve the raid group thing.

Now you are going to enter the Firelands & activate the ohack & will enable the fly hack. Now you are only going to pull the mobs i will mention here or else you are just gonna get killed every time also you will have to maintain a distance or you are going to get hit by mobs.

Now the Mobs you are going to pull are following

The fire scorpions (Both Giant & small ones)

The hell hounds

The Spiderlings

These are the mobs you are going to pull if you are soloing with two characters you are going to kill the mobs then move the mobs which are alive to a different position & loot the ones you just killed with your other character make sure that the other character you are playing is high in the air & dosent get aggro.

However if only 1 of your characters is in the firelands the best choice is the to only pull the Fire scorpions because they have low hp & are large in numbers meaning more chances of getting loot also each scorpion drops 20 gold & a few silvers along with the Embersilk Cloth & other drops you can earn decent amount of  gold by only killing these mobs.

You should try both of these methods since the drop rates differ from each mob.

Now lets teach you which class you are gonna play the best class to solo with is hunter you can also use any other ranged class to solo but i recommend hunter because they can feign death in case you get unwanted aggro. So when pulling mobs make sure that you don't pull Fire Hounds or Nagga Patrol by mistake since the hound will fear you & make you run towards ground & the patrol will do aoe damage to you in the air.

Also i forgot to mention earlier after pulling all the scorpions you are just going to spam aoe after using your burst macro for example if you are playing hunter you will spam "Explosive Trap,Ice Trap,Multi-shot you can get the increased focus regen (it will give you unlimited focus for like a min it is a exploit btw) if you spam multi shot after using Rapid fire & you cd's

This is pretty much it not too hard now is it? Gonna Share with you how to solo bosses in the next part Until then Happy Farming :)

Leather-working Gold Guide - Making gold farming Borean Leather

People usually stick to farming and selling newest trade goods. Sure, they sell almost instantly, but what about older trade goods? Borean Leather is an excellent example. No one farms it on my realm, but there's new leatherworkers every day that need it to level their profession. If they don't have skinning, they are usually ready to pay big to get past those levels!

Exotic Leather vs. Borean Leather

I have so many Spirits of Harmony that I chose to buy some  Exotic Leather and see how much gold there is to be made. I tried 5 stacks and they sold within 10 minutes. I managed to get 80 wow gold per stack, meaning I converted 5  Spirits of Harmony into 400 wow gold.

Not bad, but then I noticed the price of  Borean Leather. Almost 400 gold a stack instead. The next day it was 200 gold per stack, and then almost 300 gold on the third day. The price continued to stay above 200 gold. Sometimes it dropped way below 100g a stack, but there were never a lot of it available, so I just flipped them all. They didn't sell as fast as Exotic Leather, but the profit was huge.

And as a side note, there's many more items you can buy with Spirits of Harmony, and I may make a post of it's own at some point where I tell you how to turn them into most wow gold.

No skinning required

Farming Borean Leather is a lot easier and faster than Exotic Leather. There's also zero competition, so you get the best farming spots usually, despite CRZ.

However, because of no competition, you don't necessarily even need skinning. From my experience the borean leather that appears in auction house is just from someone leveling skinning past 350.

The price is often even lower than 20g a stack, so its a safe bet to buy them and add a zero to the price. They will sell for that amount, unless you get undercut.

Even today I've sold 9 stacks for 300 gold each so far, and there's no competition. Even if competition appears, I take care of it. Borean Leather is easy to monopolize and I recommend you to give it a try, unless someone else from your realm attempts to do the same.

To get most sales, It's a good idea to sell both stacks of 20 and 10. Perhaps 5 too.

Best way to farm Borean Leather

If you have skinning and are level 85+, I recommend you to solo farm this in the Oculus instance, in Borean Tundra. Just enter the instance and run past all the dragonkin until you arrive at the teleport orb. You can then aoe the mobs down easily, AOE loot them and give your skinning knife some work. A single run takes no more than a few minutes.

You can do this 5 times a hour, and then you've hit the instance cap. 5 runs usually equals in even 200 Borean Leather, or 2000 wow gold if you sell a stack for 200 wow gold.

Alchemy Gold Guide - Getting rich with Primal Might

I'm still often the only person on my realm selling these, even though they are needed by many people. One sells for even 800g if there is no one else selling and someone needs them desperately. There is definitely room for more Alchemists doing this!

The materials are often very expensive though, so sometimes it will be more profitable to sell them as they are. Lucky transmute procs are not guaranteed. Thankfully the materials are easy to obtain by farming them.

Profession needed: Alchemy

Primal Gold!

Before turning any primals into anything, you should check the material costs. They are TBC items so their prices vary between 20g-300g most of the time. If each of the lesser primals sell for 300g, you'll make more gold selling them instead. It would be wise to farm them yourself. One primal takes less than 3 minutes to obtain, so it won't take long to get them all.If you don't know where's the best place to farm them, check the previous Primal Might post.

Primal Might has simple material requirements:
  • 1 x Primal Earth
  • 1 x Primal Water
  • 1 x Primal Mana
  • 1 x Primal Air
  • 1 x Primal Fire
Remember that transmutation alchemists can get lucky procs and get even 5 items from one transmute.

Finding some recipes

If you don't have the recipe for Primal Might, you can buy it from Shattrath. The recipe is BOE and sells for 300+g in the auction house. It has a short restock timer on the vendor, so it's wise to buy 2 and sell the other one in the Auction House! And while in Shattrath, why not buy the schematic for white smoke flare also. It too sells for 300g often!

Farming Guide - Crocolisk Gold Farming

Farming Crocolisks for Gold

High level Mists of Pandaria Crocolisks offer 3 items that you should be interested in. Lower level crocolisks should be avoided. In this particular wow gold making tip we'll be focusing on the Coldbite Crocolisks in Dread Wastes. They're level 90, so make sure your toon is at the appropriate level.

wow gold guide
Coldbite Crocolisk
Location: Dread Wastes
Items you should expect to see:
  •  Raw Crocolisk Belly (60%)
  •  Mote of Harmony (8%)
  •  High Quality Crocolisk Leather (3%)
Your main income will be from Raw Crocolisk Belly. On my realm they have been selling for 10-40g each for several months now, so this gold making tip has stood very profitable. If the price ever drops below 20, I will just flip them without worrying, as no one really farms crocolisks.

wow gold
Dread Wastes
Coldbite Crocolisk spawn points
You'll also get a nice amount of Harmony Motes. You can use these for anything, like buying Crocolisk Bellies from a vendor in Halfhill Market, if you convert the Spirit of Harmony into a cooking reward and grab a bag of them. The average price for a belly is 30g on my realm, and 40g for a Golden Lotus, so it's more profitable for me to focus on bellies instead.

You'll also get a High Quality Crocolisk Leather by a low chance. It's vendor junk, but sells for 9 wow gold.

I wouldn't really use the bellies for anything. It's better off to just sell them as they are.

The mobs itself are very easy to kill if you have a decent ilvl and more importantly self heals, so you can tackle even 4 at once. Their respawn times are quite fast too, so you'll never have to wait around.

Oh noes! It's underwater!

Most of these Crocolisks are underwater, so there's no competition ever, unless someone is doing a non-daily quest. The pool is not deep though, so if you have ranged attacks, you don't really need to swim much.

To speed things up literally, I would recommend to choose  Speed King buff to help your watery grind with a double jump every 5 seconds.

You can also earn loads of gold by farming cataclysm crocolisks will tell you how to in the next guide.

Engineering Gold Guide- Selling Fireworks for Gold

Here's another little trick to make extra gold in Warcraft with engineering. Like the previous method, this too is very simple to follow and does not require more than a few gold coins to perform. You however need to have leveled Engineering up.

Fireworks Schematics Sale

Mists of Pandaria implemented many new fireworks schematics. This gold making tip focuses on creating and selling them. There's usually about 270g profit per sale.

To start, you need 500 skill points in engineering. After that, talk to a trainer to learn the  Pandaria Fireworks recipe. Creating a single bundle of Pandaria Fireworks requires only 3 x  High-Explosive Gunpowder. You can craft them from 2 x  Ghost Iron Bar.

The Pandaria Fireworks bundle contains schematics and fireworks. You can sell them both! Schematics usually sell for 200-500 gold, and individual fireworks for 3-10 gold. There's usually no competition from my experience, and they sell surprisingly well, even though only other engineers can learn them.

Keep in mind though that if you learn one of the schematics, you can no longer loot the schematic again from the bundle. So it's a good idea to sell all the schematics.

Do not post more than one schematic of the same type at a time though, or it will look like the item is easy to obtain, and many people will not buy it then. Also keep the price high so it looks more valuable if you have no competition.

New gold tips on the way!

Sorry for the lack of new posts lately was busy with some family stuff & new year! From time to time it's a good idea to have small pauses from World of Warcraft so that one does not lose interest in it completely. New gold making tips are already on the way though, so you don't need to wait a long time anymore.

There will be a couple more cataclysm heroic dungeons to visit, and after that I will give the MOP Collector's Edition a new home. After that we'll tackle some new profession related wow gold making tips. Especially engineering will receive more love, as it's one of the best gold making professions. I'll also post gold tips about professions that haven't received a lot of posts. Skinning and leatherworking in particular will have some nice things coming.

I also love to hear from you, so feel free to send suggestions on what professions you'd like to see mentioned more, or if gold making by farming and grinding is better in your opinion.

Enchanting Gold Guide- Easiest way to make Hypnotic Dust & Celestial Essences

Making Hypnotic Dust with Jewelcrafting

This is one of the oldest JC tricks, but it's still very profitable. Simply purchase as much Obsidium or Elementium Ore from the auction house and prospect them. Do not cut the green gems you get, but instead turn them into accessories, such as rings. All of these will DE into Hypnotic Dust. This is time consuming, but profitable and requires no hard work.

Making Hypnotic Dust with Tailoring

gold making guide
This NPC should be your last resort!
This is not profitable if Embersilk is more expensive than the dust. On top of that,Eternium Threads required for this cost almost 1 gold each.

The point is to buy Embersilk Cloth and create Deathsilk Bracers. Each DE's into 1-8 Hypnotic Dust and sometimes Celestial Essences. Note that the bracers sell for even 300g each on some realms, so keep at least one for sale if this is the case.

Making Hypnotic Dust at the Auction House

This is the best way after Jewelcrafting, and most interesting. Simply search for green quality level 80-85 items at the auction house, and sort them by price. Some lvl 77 items are also Cataclysm items, but they often cost 50x more than the dust you can get from them.

When you see some items with a reasonable price, see if 4 Hypnotic Dust is worth more than the item. 4 is the average amount of dusts you can get from one greenie.

Tailoring Gold Guide - Farming Embersilk & tons of exp

If you like farming, don't miss this one! Especially if you are level 82-84 so you get lots of exp too! This spot is meant for all classes with superior AOE abilities, like magi and boomkins for example, but others will benefit too.

The best place to farm Embersilk cloth
Embersilk cloth can sell very well and fast too , so it's a good choice if you want to farm something. I tried this spot for 60 minutes and used a Potion of Treasure Finding, which gives you even more money when farming. All prices are suggested average prices by Auctioneer.

You will also have multiple tanks tanking the troggs for you most of the time, so you take very little damage even if you're hitting 10 troggs at a time.

Deepholm - The Fractured Front (23, 58)

Loot received:
339 Embersilk Cloth = 1186g

11 Greenies =  269g (Level <-80 sold, others DE'd)
22 Junk = 46g
18 Pyrite and Elementium ores = 140g (After smelting)
166g from coin drops
Millions of EXP!

Money spent on Potion of Treasure Finding: -120g

Total: 2223g
All of the above data was for retail the profit will be  x10 times on private servers

Alchemy Gold Guide - Making a ton of gold selling MOP Flasks

Almost everyone is looking for the new superior epics dropping in the new raid, so people will be needing buffs to make it easier. Biggest buff of these comes from alchemy flasks. They are expensive to create, but especially during raid times in the evening, they sell for even 700g each on realms with many raiding guilds.

To make most gold, you should check which flasks are the most expensive. It's a good idea to focus on the ones that have highest price and/or lowest quantity available.

An alchemist with  Elixir Master skill can sometimes make even 5 flasks instead of only one. This saves a lot of materials if you get lucky procs. Elixir Mastery can be learned from the quest Elixir Master.

Before learning it, you should prepare for it. The quest requires the following:

  •  Flask of Spring Blossoms x 2
  •  Flask of the Warm Sun x 2
  •  Flask of the Earth x 2
  •  Flask of Winter's Bite x 2
The raw materials for the flasks is as follows:
  •  Golden Lotus x 8
  •  Silkweed x 8
  •  Snow Lily x 8
  •  Fool's Cap x 8
  •  Rain Poppy x 8
  •  Crystal Vial x 8
As you can see, it's very expensive to learn, but you can make up for it with even one lucky proc!

To make even more gold, give one of your level 90 characters Herbalism. Flying around, picking flowers with an epic mount can make thousands in as little as a hour, more if you turn them into flasks!

Make faster flask sales
To make your flask sell better, start listing your flasks at around 17:00 server time, and make sure you're not getting undercut by visiting the auction house every 30 minutes or so.

You can also give stack discounts in the trade chat, by advertising that if someone buys 5 flasks from you, they get 3 spec specific panda potions for free, or something similar that catches ones eye. You also need to let people know why they should buy your flasks.

A good way to make people buy is to ask them if they want to top the DPS meters, to become more durable as a tank or ask if they are going out of mana.
